You can contact your teachers and fellow students via Slack (our chat program) and via video calling. The chat is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The teachers are present during office hours. Video calls with teachers also take place during the week. You can contact your fellow students at any time you wish.
As long as you want! There is no time limit. You can always pause the course and continue at a later time or search for information if you have already finished the course.
Our courses are accessible to everyone. No prior degree is required.
In order to be able to continue to the next module, you will receive final assignments that we check. We check whether your understanding is correct by giving you larger final assignments, which sometimes take you a few days. So there is no test or exam. We believe that a lot of practice with programming is more important than a test or exam.
That is entirely up to you! Our courses are designed in such a way that you can follow them full-time study or you can choose to study only in the evening or at the weekend, for example. Our teachers are available every working day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, the teaching materials and contact with fellow students are available 24/7.
Yes, as soon as you have sufficiently completed all final assignments, you will receive a signed certificate of completion. This allows you to show your (future) employer what you have learned and which languages and techniques you master. You can see our certificate as a kind of 'guarantee certificate'. If your employer is not satisfied, you can always come back to us and we will help you to master those skills again or better.
JavaScript and Python. These are languages that are widely used and that are relatively easy to learn.

Your computer or laptop must have a reasonable memory, a well-functioning webcam, a good sound card and is preferably not older than +/- 5 years. In addition, you should be able to easily install new software on it. Note: Chromebooks, iPads and Android tablets are not suitable for this.
Yes, the courses Winc Academy offers are fully (100%) remote. This means that all lessons are given online.

Our headquarter is located at James Wattstraat 77L in Amsterdam. This is easily accessible by car or public transport. You can park (paid) in front of the door and Amsterdam Amstel station is a 5-minute walk away.
