Full-Stack Development

As a full-stack developer you are an all-rounder. You can develop modern, fast and user-friendly websites and you work on the server-side that supports these websites. 'The cloud' is no longer a mystery to you.

There are more than 20.000 job openings for programmers, of which almost 50% are for full stackers.

This course gives you the most complete understanding of how complex web applications work. You will learn how to deal with databases, write APIs yourself and set up a server.

The content of a website is described in HTML. You learn to read and write HTML, and you can use it to create simple websites yourself.

CSS is how you add style to a web page. You’ll use CSS to determine text styles, size, positioning, color, and more.

Time to add functionality! JavaScript will help you create interactions with users, databases, animations, and other elements.

React is a JavaScript library that makes it even easier to write fast, smooth-running websites. Facebook, Netflix, and Reddit are all developed in React.

You will learn developer workflows using Git and other useful tools.

Python

Python is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. You learn to read and write in this language to the point that you can independently build an extensive application with it.

Flask

Flask is a Python web framework that makes it easy to create a fully-featured web application. By learning how to use Flask you also understand how the internet works.

One of the most important aspects of the cloud is the storage and use of data. You will learn to work with the database language SQL and to use databases from Python.

Deployment is about pushing code to the server. You will learn the ins and outs of the cloud, how to install the software you write onto it, and how to maintain it afterwards.
